SHINE, our global onboarding program, guides new employees through the learning curve of their first days, weeks and months ensuring a positive start that accelerates their successful transition to SGS.

The SHINE onboarding program

SHINE provides all new employees with an engaging, comprehensive and supportive start to their employment. Through the three month program, new employees are equipped with the information, resources and connections they need to quickly become productive members of the SGS team.

From planning your site orientation and safety induction on Day One, to discussing progress and development with your manager after three months, SHINE’s structured introduction to SGS helps you to feel part of the team and hastens your time to full productivity.

SHINE is a collaborative program with managers and new employees, along with Peer Advisors when one is assigned, liaising together to cover activities across the following important milestones:

  • Pre-Arrival: Preparation
  • First Day: Introduction
  • First Week: Immersion
  • First Month: Exploration
  • First Three Months: Discovery
  • First Three Months: Engagement
