SGS Attends Downstream Central Asia conference in Tashkent
SGS is proud to have attended the 2021 Downstream Central Asia conference. This international conference is held annually in various parts of the region and attracts its largest oil refineries as well as international companies. In 2021, the conference was held with the support of the Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company and was dedicated to current projects, trends and industry issues, as well as strategic priorities that will determine the development of the region’s oil refining and petrochemicals sector.
Assel Kulybekova, SGS’s Outsourcing Services Manager for the Caspian region, gave a presentation on outsourcing of the analytical control function at oil refining and petrochemical enterprises – the benefits and risks of such projects for the customer and SGS’s experience in managing analytical control laboratories at oil refining and petrochemical enterprises, with consideration of the business cases and the results achieved by these projects.
SGS has over 40 years of successful international laboratory management experience in refineries and petrochemicals, including laboratory design, investment in equipment, and search and development of personnel.
